DIVING INTO THE MESSAGE
THE TRUTH ABOUT ASSOCIATES & ENTREPRENEURS
Dr Zsolt doesn’t pull punches when it comes to the dysfunction between clinic owners and associates. Drawing from his own entrepreneurial upbringing and experience with practice partnerships, he outlines a painful truth: many clinics are set up to fail because they expect caregivers to act like CEOs.
His advice? Stop expecting your associate to become your clone. If they’re not wired to market and scale, don’t resent them; support them. Put the right people in the right seats. Sometimes that means hiring a COO to bridge the gap between vision and execution. Chiropractic needs builders and caregivers, not one pretending to be the other.
THE BOARD OF ADVISORS MINDSET
Mentorship was another cornerstone in Dr Zsolt’s journey. But he warns against the trap of idolizing just one mentor. “I used to have a mentor for everything, then I realized no one’s great at everything,” he says.
Instead, he urges DCs to build a board of advisors. One mentor for money. One for marriage. One for clinical philosophy. Even a hypothetical one like BJ Palmer. Filter every big decision through this team and you’ll make better choices that reflect your values.
FREEDOM THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE
Rather than stay shackled to their businesses, Dr Zsolt and his wife have leveraged coaching and systems to buy back their time. Through his work with the Remarkable Practice, he now helps other clinic owners do the same. Whether it’s EOS-style KPIs, developing team trust, or identifying caregiver vs. CEO wiring, Zsolt shows that scaling isn’t about working harder, it’s about building systems that let your business breathe without you.
MIRACLE STORIES THAT MATTER
One of the most moving moments in the interview was the story of Joanne, a woman given 24 hours to live who received one atlas adjustment… and walked out of the hospital days later. Zsolt shares many patient transformations like this, but he insists his favorite miracles are the quiet ones: the kids who never have to go on 25 medications because their nervous systems are clear from the start.
FINAL TAKEAWAY
“You need to know what you’re built for, and find the environment that honors it.”
