Understand the Way of the Samurai in Chiropractic with Dr. Paul Ofili DC – Chiro Hustle Podcast 212

Dr. Ofili received his Bachelor's Degree in Health Science Studies from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, then immediately continued his studies at Life Chiropractic College West where he graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in the winter of 2014. Dr. Ofili has trained with the best in the business, polishing his skills to be able to help with many different types of spinal conditions.

In Dr. Ofili’s junior year of college, he completely fractured the head of his femur bone and almost didn't survive a near-death car accident. Life stopped for him, right there in that moment. After hip surgery, there was excruciating pain in his physical body, his mind, and his emotions for quite some time – until he went to go see a chiropractor. After his first adjustment, he was completely amazed. Somehow, there was a clearer, calmer, and more present being that he hadn’t felt in years. Thinking it was sheer luck, he went again for a second time, and once again there was more clarity, calmness, and ease in his body. He was convinced that chiropractic had something very special to offer to humanity, healing, and the suffering that we face.

Dr. Ofili believes that chiropractic is one of the most efficient tools to get humanity to reach lucidity and connect back with who we are which allows us to do the things we love again. We get overwhelmed by physical and mental pain that we cannot manage well and our life process is interfered with by the protective nature of the body. It makes great sense to remove that interference through a chiropractic adjustment so that lucidity can begin to flow again and your true connection with life can be felt. According to the book Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell it takes 10,000 hours toward any craft to be considered a master. With the number of hours Dr. Ofili has put in with intensive training and commitment to understanding the in’s and out’s of the body, he believes he could help with any nervous system related problem. Dr. Ofili loves what he does and feels fortunate to have found a career through which he can truly impact people’s lives.

Samurai Training Seminars BIo

Samurai training was developed to grow the chiropractor in the art, business, and communication of chiropractic. I created Samurai training in 2013 as a means to help create a well-rounded chiropractor. Since then, over 500 students have received the training.

A chiropractor who is developed beyond the general standard tends to see better results all around.

I believe the chiropractic adjustment has the ability to transform people’s lives, and it is in the chiropractor's best interest to train in doing chiropractic adjustment as a professional tennis player would train for their sport. Samurai training has traveled around the US, training chiropractors from all different states.

I’ve personally been involved with three different mission trips in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. The goal of samurai training is to come from a selfless place—no bragging, no boasting, just being undeniably good at the work. The motto followed in Samurai training is this: The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.
