Dr. Gregg Coker is a licensed chiropractor living in eastern Oklahoma with his wife, Connie, and their five paint horses, three German shepherds, a Mini Aussie, and 3 cats.
After earning Associate of Arts degrees in medicine and business administration and completing 91 hours in microbiology at the University of Oklahoma, he went on to receive both a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa. He launched his practice, Coker Chiropractic, in 1993 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the city where he was born and raised.
Enrolling in Zone School of Healing in 2018 was the best decision of my life. The Zone Technique is changing the lives of doctors and patients all over the world. Currently doing podcasts with Dr. Peter Goldman every 4 weeks on the Dr. Charlie Ward show who has over 18 million followers.
Dr. Coker's lifelong affinity for animals led him to begin courses on animal chiropractic in 1994 with Sharon Willoughby, D.C., D.V.M. In 2010 he completed his studies at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Wellsville, Kansas, and became certified as an animal chiropractor by the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission, and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. In 2011 he joined the teaching staff at Options for Animals and while there enjoyed introducing veterinarians and chiropractors to the art, science, and philosophy of animal chiropractic. Helping animals feel and function at a higher level brings Dr. Coker “great joy”.
His animal patients have included dogs, cats, birds, goats, large snakes, cows, an African lion cub, Siberian tigers, bald eagle, wild owl, kangaroo, etc., and a large variety of horses. A love of the outdoors led to an avid interest in exploring the woods where he lives in search of “treasures”; that he uses in his creative woodworking to fashion everything from rustic benches to functional tables and coatracks to beautiful wall art that he coaxes from driftwood and fallen trees and stumps. He also enjoys gourmet cooking, which he regards as his “true therapy”; and loves to spend time creating or modifying recipes and smoking meats, which he then shares with family and friends.
